About the Role
Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our team. The Lead Installer will oversee the installation of doors, integration of WRBs, and adherence to lead safety standards. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Door Installation: Lead the installation of various door types, including entry, sliding, and French doors, ensuring proper alignment, insulation, and weather-stripping.
WRB Integration: Ensure seamless integration of weather-resistant barriers with doors, windows, and other structural components.
Lead Safety Compliance: Adhere to EPA RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) standards, including setting up containment areas, using approved removal methods, and proper waste disposal.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train installation crew members to ensure quality and efficiency.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with homeowners, addressing questions and providing maintenance tips.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve installation challenges on-site.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Lead Installer or similar role in construction or door installation.
Proficiency in WRB installation and flashing integration.
Certification or training in EPA RRP standards (preferred).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
